So i'm always a little late jumping on these style 'band wagons', but lately i've really been into the trend of chain necklaces. I saved a bit of money not splashing out cash on this trend though! The other day me and my mum were searching through my grandmas jewellery; she passed away when I was only little so everything we have left of her is kind of special to me. So anyway, I happened across this vintage costume jewellery piece, at least I don't think it's gold plated. I just love it, it isn't anything like what i've seen in the shops at the moment. I also like that it has a centre piece, that way when it is worn under a collared shirt it peeps out between the middle of the collar.




I teamed this gold chain necklace with a:

• Blue and white striped shirt
• White Converse
• Blue Joni jeans
• Vintage costume jewellery bracelet
• Vintage gold band

So the other day (Wednesday to be precise) I purchased a bag for the first time from Scaramanga and by Thursday morning it had arrived (I know, quick right!?) Scaramanga are sellers of the most gorgeous antiqued leather bags of all different styles. Each Scaramanga leather bag is made in the heart of Britain using traditional methods and tools.
I stumbled across Scaramanga after conducting a search on good old google, what I searched for, "vintage leather bag". After searching through a great number of websites, and having no look finding what I was looking for I might add, I finally came to Scaramanga and even though they aren't exactly vintage bags, they still seemed to have that vintage feel.
As soon as it had arrived I knew I had made the right decision. The leather of the bag is deliciously soft and supple while still holding it's shape (don't you just hate it when the leather is as stiff as cardboard?! well, maybe you don't...) and it already looks like it has seen years of wear when in fact it hasn't! The length of the strap is adjustable in the same way you would alter your belt and there are three separate pockets, two interior and one exterior (always a helpful feature for those little nicknacks that always seem to get lost even in the smallest of bags...). I just love it, can you tell?

I can finally say I have received all the items I have been waiting for from Victoria's Secret, whoop whoop! I was so excited to finally be able to try out the PINK line as the nearest VS seller to me is about a 7 hour drive away and so my only option is to buy online. In celebration of it's arrival I just wanted to share some sneak-peak images with you and some of my initial thoughts on the pieces I ordered. Firstly the two t-shirts I brought, both from the Victoria's Secret PINK MLB collection. These are thin versatile t-shirts that can be thrown on when in a rush. I think these are defiantly staples with that little bit extra. I love the 'bling' detail to the front of the red and white drapey Red Sox top.

I am so much happier with this then I thought I was going to be (not that I thought I was going to be disappointed with it else I wouldn't have brought it.. but you get what I mean) This is the New York Yankees shrunken zip. It is made from a very thin light weight material that isn't 'heavy' to wear. I was sceptical about how short this was actually going to be as it was described as the 'shrunken zip' and so I brought a medium hoping it would be that little bit longer. Whether it is or not I don't know but i'm extremely happy that I went a size (or maybe even two) up because it is now loose fitting and just so comfy!

Above are the three leggings I brought. The top one is the cropped yoga pant style, the middle is the New York Giants Yoga Legging and the bottom is the normal PINK legging in 'heather charcoal'. These are the COMFIEST things I have ever worn. I had already heard this and that is why I brought three different styles so that I could try each one out myself. They defiantly live up to the hype! They are nice thick leggings, great for the cooler weather this season is going to bring.

Next is the New York Yankees Campus Crop. I was a bit disappointed with how thin the material on these was, I was expecting it to be a nice thick material but it just isn't. They are also extremely loose fitting and aren't to flattering on me. Other than that though, they are very comfy and the extra space in them will make them great 'lounge around' pants.

This is the sparkly tote that you got free with any purchase worth $75 or over. When added to your basket it said it had a worth of $100 but the material defiantly doesn't say that! It feels like it is made from a very cheap flimsy material that probably isn't going to stand the test of time BUT it was free so I guess I shouldn't really be complaining! THANK YOU VS.
I did also buy the PINK Metallic Lanyard in 'gold' which I admit, I forgot to take a picture of. I brought this basically so that I could use the strap on it to carry my Louis Vuitton Key Pouch and that carries it's job out nicely! For the VS pouch that came on the strap, it's such a disappointment to me. The zip on it jams all the time which gets very annoying. The strap itself is pretty neat, it is the perfect length and the Victoria's Secret name detailing on the ring I believe adds a little something to it. So for the task that I brought it for i'd give it a thumbs up. 
There is one more item I haven't included in this post and that is the Victoria's Secret Color/Colour Drama Lipstick in 'wish'. This is because i'd like to do a mini review on this separately so keep an eye out for that :)

so i have been putting this post containing my second victoria's secret purchase off because i was hoping that the package might turn up. it hasn't though so i am here now to show you what goodies i am still expecting! i am hoping that they arrive before my christmas shopping trip on the 29th of this month because i am in need of some 'comfies' to travel the long journey in.

so yes, this package consists of all purchases from the victoria's secret PINK sale section (all except for the metallic lanyard, that didn't come from the sale section) and so i think i saved around about $70 in total on this purchase and it cost me about $165 (i noted what it cost me in pounds and so i am going by the conversion rate of £ to $ today) i brought a lot of comfy items in this package because i know i will get a lot of wear out of them when i'm on campus so i will end up getting my monies worth out of them. i went a bit crazy with the new york yankee memorabilia type clothing but i just love them, so i guess there is no harm done! i also brought a boston red sox red drapey tee because i just love how the tomato red colour looked as well as the drapey oversized fit. a perfect item to throw on when you want to get up and go. the PINK metallic lanyard was purchased so that i can keep my keys, cash and phone handy at all times, i also get a very saw back from carrying heavy bags around for a long period of time so this solves that problem! i originally wanted it in silver but apparently that wasn't available at the time so i had to purchase gold instead but that's fine, coz i like the gold as well...

i hope i'm as happy with this purchase when it arrives as i think i'm going to be! i've heard only great things about the victoria's secret PINK clothing line so lets hope it lives up to the hype! i will let you know how i feel about each piece when they arrive, stay tuned!

hey guys! so here is my first ever haul video. it just shows the things i've brought this month that i maybe haven't shown over here on the blog (but if i have already, sorry!) there are some things in their from topshop, topman, h&m, newlook and a little sneak peak (kind of...) at a victoria secret purchase i just made! (more on that last one soon :)) i hope you enjoy it, i can't say i'm very good at the whole editing videos thing just yet but i'm sure over time i will get much better at that :) i really enjoyed making it and it actually took me a REALLY, REALLY long time, all day in fact! so i probably wont get a chance to do one that often but i will make them as often as i can! :)
