hey guys! so here is my first ever haul video. it just shows the things i've brought this month that i maybe haven't shown over here on the blog (but if i have already, sorry!) there are some things in their from topshop, topman, h&m, newlook and a little sneak peak (kind of...) at a victoria secret purchase i just made! (more on that last one soon :)) i hope you enjoy it, i can't say i'm very good at the whole editing videos thing just yet but i'm sure over time i will get much better at that :) i really enjoyed making it and it actually took me a REALLY, REALLY long time, all day in fact! so i probably wont get a chance to do one that often but i will make them as often as i can! :)
p.s - i accidentally posted this yesterday because i forgot to schedule it, yikeees! my mistake. hence why i deleted it and re-posted.

so as i said on saturday, i was away from the blog for the weekend enjoying some time to myself without having to worry about lingering assignments because i'd gotten them all done, yey! so on saturday me and kie went to visit his nanny and grandad. they travel a lot around europe so it's nice to spend time with them as much as possible when they are here. we went down to a little seaside town close by called 'burry port', walked along the beach had a drink in the cafe and then walked back along the sea front path. the weather was gorgeous even if it was a little chilly!

hey guys, i'm away for the weekend at the moment, spending time with friends while i don't have any assignments due in, yey! :) i hope you are all having a good weekend, 'see' you monday! x

so here is a little list of all the mac products i am dyeing to try out! i've had my eye on the lipsticks for a while but couldn't decide between shades. the coral bliss and shy girl are my favourites and i think my first purchase is going to be the coral bliss. i go very pale in the winter so i don't want something so subtle that it is going to wash me out but i don't want something to eye catching, i'm not looking to make a statement, that's just not me! i'm also in need of some advice, i get particularly oily skin as the day goes on but for a few hours after i first wash my face, my skin is quite dry. i guess you'd call that combination skin, maybe? i'm not sure. anyway, i need some advice on which mac foundation would be best for my type of skin. i've heard some great things about the mac foundations and i want to pick one that will best suit my skin as it isn't cheap and i don't want it to go to waste! so if you guys can help out at all, send me an email! i would ask the ladies on the mac counter but i'm going to have to buy online because i don't have a mac store or counter anywhere near me :/ all help will be appreciated! :)

so i have been trying out these two products from YSL for a while now, the touche éclat radiant touch, in no.1 (rose lumiere) and the mascara volume effect faux cils also in no.1 (noir haute densite/high density black). i brought them in a duo travel pack collection in the duty free section for around £40 for the pair on the way to NY and i wanted to know exactly how good or not they were long term before i gave my opinion on them. a lot of people rave about the touch éclat and it really does live up to the hype! it's amazing, the best under eye concealer i've ever tried! most under eye concealers i feel still leave a faint blueness (if you get what i mean..) but this one doesn't, it conceals dark circles perfectly. the mascara is also one of my favourites and the only one i use from day to day now. the picture below of the brush makes it seem like a gloopy kind of formula but i don't feel that it actually is in real life. it is a great mascara if you want lengthy looking lashes, i feel.





i have had a quick look at what these generally retail for here in the UK and i have found that they both retail for around £25 which in my oppinion is pretty pricey. it sounds so much less when you say £40 for both! even though it really is only £10 cheaper but i guess, a saving is a saving!

this weekend i went on a little spending spree and by little i think you can tell by the pictures, i only brought two things. i'm a bit strapped for cash at the moment but i was in desperate, or so i think anyway, need of a new hoody and a new pair of leggings. when i look into my wardrobe i think i could have maybe done without the hoody... just maybe... but the colour is gorgeous!

• the hoody i got from topman for £25. they have the exact same (or pretty much the same) colours in topshop but they are constantly sold out! so i got an XS in topman.
• now, i've been looking out for a pair of grey leggings for a while now and i was going to purchase a pair from either jack wills, or american apparel but when i was out, i spotted these knitted style 'snow patterned' leggings in republic and fell in love with them, i just had to get them! these cost me £20.

hey everyone! :) i've been really busy since i last spoke to you, yes not yesterday but the day before, hence my once again, little absence. i have an assignment due in monday therefore i have been away trying to make it tip top. i've also brought the book 'the perks of being a wallflower' which i've actually nearly finished in one day (i know, that doesn't make me sound at all busy even though i am!). i'm really enjoying it, it is such a good book! i recommend it to all you little book worms out their :)
i'm also having a bit of a dilemma as to whether to buy an amazon kindle or not. not the top of the rang or anything, like the fire i think it's called(?) i'm just thinking of getting myself the touch one. what do you guys think? email me!
OO also, a pair of jeans i brought from the topshop sale for an awesome £22 (£20 with my uni days coupon code!) arrived yesterday, so i will make sure i show you them real soon. i might be back later with a vblog. i've been watching loads of these and they seem really fun! so when i've had time to banish all my dark circles (yes, i've just got out of bed...) i might give one of them a go for you all.
so yes, a bit rushed but i'm real sorry for my absence (and this quick post) but i hope you've all had a smashing week!

hehe, that's right! this morning miss samantha satchel arrived! at first i was torn about what to call her. she is a bright scarlet colour so it would have made sense to call her scarlet only i like the name samantha so much better and it sounds better along with my other satchels name, sid :) you're all probably thinking i'm off my rocker, referring to inanimate objects like they are living beings BUT, it is just something i like to do :) no, i don't talk to them or anything.. don't worry! so yes, i just wanted to show her off to you all. she is an 11" red satchel with a black letter 's' embossed on her front. isn't she just lovely?! i am seriously into red at the moment and dark reds are extremely fitting for this cold weather we are getting, yey!


p.s - i'm sorry, she looks a different colour in pretty much every picture = bad lighting, flash, no flash, no natural light.. etc.

hey! so i'd like to apologise for my absence yesterday, yes i know, it wasn't exactly a profoundly long period of time but it was longer than i am normally away for. what has been keeping me away from my dear beloved blog though is....

yep, that's right, university work. i have three assignments due this month and being my first three ever, i want to get them spot on. not that i don't want to get all the others spot on but you get my drift. i think i brought one to an end yesterday but i might just go back later on to take another quick look and my second one is coming along smoothly, so far anyway. hopefully i will manage to get them all finished this week and be free from them for the rest of this month, at least. yey!

This morning we got up early and took little Lucy down to the local park for an early morning walk. It's starting to get cold here now and you can defiantly feel winter on its way! We walked down by the river which is flowing extremely quickly at the moment due to the amount of rain we have been having! Everybody enjoyed, Lucy slept for the rest of the morning when we got back, she was so tuckered out!

p.s - i managed to get some gorgeous pictures of some bright pink flowers (sorry i'm not to good with the technical names when it comes to plants) which reminded me so much of summer. makes me miss the hot weather and glorious sunshine...
