PORRIDGE N PICKLES OFFICIAL BLOG

Yesterday was spent chowing down on a lovely christmas dinner, followed by mountains of delicious puddings along with crackers and watching the hours long slideshow of all the pictures that were taken at Jodie and Terry's wedding. You may be thinking, an EARLY christmas dinner?! Well Kieran's uncle, Terry who got married last weekend, is moving to Australia where his wife, Jodie, is originally from and therefore they wont be here to enjoy their christmas dinner with the family, hence the early one before they leave on Tuesday. It was a great afternoon, a perfect way to see them off :)

So anybody who knows me, knows about my secret (well it isn't really to secret) tooth and in fact, my love affair with food altogether. I have recently been baking a load of cakes and have apparently (some people say) become a bit of a whizz at them! But, we all know we can't just live on cake so I shall hand you over to the Smitten Kitchen and their millions upon millions of delicious recipes, oh and their apple cider doughnuts shown bellow, YUM.

so yesterday was kie's birthday and the day before that i spent preparing for it, baking cakes and wrapping his present (only one & it was biiiiiiiiig) it was fun and exciting, i was tired after it was all over. i just love birthdays...
