It's late here, way past my bedtime and i'm shattered. Before I went off to bed though, I wanted to share with you guys some etsy items I have my eye on right now. They are so cute and to be honest, really remind me of the new season, Autumn. It has to be my favourite, wrapping up warm with thick hand knit sweaters, cuddles in front of the fire, hot chocolates and delicious tomato soup and buttered bread.
1. Handmade woodland fox - Sleepy King 2. Sonny the handmade bunny - Sleepy King I have been a huge fan of Sleepy King ever since I read about them on the bleubird blog but have yet to make a purchase. I have always meant to but when it came around to it, the bunny, for example, that I had my eye on would be gone! No time like the present though, I love these mustard coloured stuffies.
3. Badger dress - Wild Things Dresses Isn't this dress the cutest?! I read an article about these creations that I found on the etsy home page but sadly they are just for kids... I have been thinking about asking to get a custom one made as a tunic top in my size. You will never know till you ask! :)
4. Wooden easter bunny - Imagination Kids The woodland creatures created by Imagination Kids have to be my favourite handmade wooden toys, especially this bunny.
5. The Rucksack in stone waxed canvas - Infusion A perfect rucksack for my uni needs! Now if only I can decide which colour.
6. Handcrafted midtops - Love Jules I love these handcrafted leather shoes made by Love Jules, they appear to be of the upmost quality. Pennies in the piggy bank. I want myself a pair of these!

Last Saturday was the wedding of Terry and Jodie. It was a great day, so much fun! It was the only day in the past few weeks where it didn't rain, glorious sunshine! :D We went down to the church at around 11:30am for the ceremony and some pictures. We then went off to the pub in the village where they first meant and then off to the restaurant for a meal. The wedding was so beautiful and so was Jodie :) Here are some of the images that I took that I wanted to share with you.

Hey everybody, sorry about it being pretty quiet around here for a few days. I started university on Monday and so things have been pretty crazy. It has been a bit of a rocky road, I hated it on the first day and was considering not bothering going back but since then it has been growing on me, yey! Anyway, i've finally got a few minutes to spare so I thought I would update you all :) I've been on the look out for some new TOMS to replace the ones I currently have that are getting a bit worn out and I came across these on etsy. They are from a shop called BStreetShoes who create a range of custom hand painted shoes. Each pair is priced around $150 which I think is a very reasonable price for such neat handy work! The type of shoes you would like the design to go on is optional and can either be Vans, TOMS or Converse. The designer of these creations is Blake a graphite artist living in Newport Beach. They are brilliant, don't you think?!
Visit the B Street Shoes store now to check out their great selection of hand painted shoes.

Hehe, today was another great postal day, two days in a row! Today though, instead of shoes, a gorgeous Yves Saint Laurent - Arty Dot ring turned up in my letter box. I also got this item off of ebay for a STYLE STEAL second hand price of £50.00, originally £180.00 (or so I believe, I can't seem to find it anywhere for sale now). It is a size 4, which I seem to have been a bit overly optimistic about at the time and apart from my little finger, which it wont actually stay on, it only fits on my ring finger on which I have to wedge it, it does fit though! Oh well, i'll make it work out...

Today I looked into the letter box to find a big cardboard box, inside of which was... these gorgeous Miu Miu ballet flats! I got them off of ebay for an amazing £52.00. They have been slightly worn, visible from the soles BUT the top half of the shoes are in mint condition. Originally these would have cost around £280.00 and so they have defiantly been one of my biggest STYLE STEALS. I am beyond chuffed with them :D

Fall is finally here and it is starting to get pretty cold here in the countryside and so i've decided to pick out some of my key casual wants this season. Each piece reflects me completely and my own personal style. I wear way more casual pieces on a day to day basis than I do anything else so I put together a collection of pieces i'd love to own this season.

I discovered Sexy Sweaters through Tumblr a couple of years ago but at that point you couldn't actually buy the sweaters you saw on the screen. Now however, you can! I haven't been on Tumblr in so long and so was blissfully unaware of this development, until now. Sexy Sweaters has finally been turned into a shop, Mr. Gugu & Miss Go. Above are some photographs of some of my favourite of their creations from their Tumblr blog, most aren't available to purchase right now but one (the first sweater pictured to be exact) is! It's called the Kaboom Sweater and is my favourite for some personal reasons due to it's name. I wont go into the details because you will most likely lose the plot by the end or think it is completely not funny (you know how personal jokes go, they are only really ever funny to the people involved..) Anyway, check out their blog, Sexy Sweaters and shop, Mr. Gugu & Miss Go to discover some fantastic creations.

Today I spent a couple of hours making myself a nice new simple skirt out of some fabric I brought in Purl Soho during my trip to New York. It's been a quiet few days around here but they are leading up to what is going to be a very busy end to the week. Thursday I have a wedding rehearsal i've got to attend in which i'm going to be told what they are expecting from the photographs I take (yes, i'm so excited i'm going to be a wedding photographer for the day!). Saturday is then the wedding and reception and finally on Sunday i'm going to finally get to see the campus on which i'm going to be studying for the next 3 years. I probably should have done that last bit sooner seen as I start on Monday but oh well, better late than never and I get company on the journey as well :D The Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday that start next week off are then filled with welcome talks, tours, BBQ's and then enrolment. Busy, busy, busy! Let's hope I can make it through with the little amount of sleep i'm most likely going to get...
I didn't take any measurements before I started this and just kind of took wild guesses. Luckily, it fits! It has an elasticated waist for easy on off so i'm going to pair it with the belt shown in the picture to hide the elasticated bit. It is a tight slim line fit that is also high waisted and is long enough to mean I still remain some dignity. Yey! Hope you guys like it. I will take some pictures of myself wearing it when I get a chance to so you get a better idea of how it fits :)

Here are a few looks I love from Elin H, the owner of The Gypsy, on lookbook.nu. Click here to visit her lookbook. I am a fan of hers and only discovered her looks a few days a go. Her style is a huge inspiration of mine already.

I am currently in love with these Prada clutches from the S/S 2012 collection. My favourite style has to be this one pictured below (image from JAK & JIL). I've been watching a few on ebay but i'm super wary of buying from there because you can never be sure whether you are going to end up with a genuine or fake item! I've read that now a days even the fake designer items come with all the special packaging, even the authenticity cards! So if you know of a reliable source where I can pick one of these up, please email me and let me know, thanks :)

So anybody who knows me, knows about my secret (well it isn't really to secret) tooth and in fact, my love affair with food altogether. I have recently been baking a load of cakes and have apparently (some people say) become a bit of a whizz at them! But, we all know we can't just live on cake so I shall hand you over to the Smitten Kitchen and their millions upon millions of delicious recipes, oh and their apple cider doughnuts shown bellow, YUM.

I recently discovered JAK & JIL the blog and instantly fell in love. It is a fashion photography blog that holds a numerous amount of gorgeous images. Each image is eye catching and breath taking, intricate and demanding. The blog has now become a daily read of mine and so I wanted to share with you a collection of my favourite images from there.

I am in love with the peplum style top at the moment, I just love it! I have my eye out at the moment for the perfect one for myself, hopefully it will make an appearance in one of my up coming style steals. Fingers crossed! Below are some photographs I found through lookbook and weheartit, I love them and just had to share them with you :)

So i'm guessing most of you have seen the film but have you read the book? At the beginning of the summer, a friend who had recently finished all the of the books, recommended I read them, boy was I in for a surprise! Even though the books are aimed for the young teenagers, The Hunger Games is also, in my opinion a great read for adults to. I don't want to give to much information away just in case you reading has neither seen the film nor read the book, I wouldn't want to spoil it for you! Anyway, my Hunger Games books are battered and bruised and have travelled with me to NYC and back because I just couldn't put them down, they made me cry and laugh, dislike and love the capital at the same time, I even dreamt I was part of the games! The film, even though brilliant also, isn't anything compared to the books. So put down your Fifty Shades Of Grey and pick these three books this season.
