I'm Sybil Mae, the owner and writer of Porridge n Pickles. Porridge n Pickles was started in mid 2012 as a way of sharing all those thoughts that were swimming around my head. Here (the blog, not my head) you will find a variety of posts ranging from vintage to baking.
I personally, are a very shy person until I get to know somebody and then i'm like a nutter, chatty, fizzy and loud. I have always loved photography as well as drawing, painting and crafting. I can sew, knit and crochet (i'm like a jack of all traits!). Oh, and I make a cracking chocolate cake.. just saying.
I am currently a student teacher studying semester two of my first year at university and i'm loving it! It was never something I saw myself doing, being honest and all. In fact, I always vowed that I would NEVER EVER become a teacher until I saw it's other side... I find the policy side a little boring but the psychology side of things I find totally fascinating (and their little faces, how can you not just love them!). I also love the fact that teachers aid in the shaping of the mind, expanding knowledge, creativity and love for the subjects being taught, which is just mind boggling. Now that I am studying full time though (non stop actually, damn you never ending assignments) I use my blog as a way of making time for the other things I enjoy in life, my projects, photos and cakes!
